'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League return
Kane celebrates his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his enthusiasm in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is currently two years through the four-year contract he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the summer of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German club, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the initial important achievement of his distinguished career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he once was, and would certainly think about lengthening his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had eluded him until he won the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy drought, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
